I am a planner. Planners will like this slender piece which seems like good preparation for an expensive day out.I am also a map person. Map people will be frustrated that there is no map or visual representation of any kind of the layout he is trying to describe in words.
Details like price of photo packages are not included, which means they aren't out of date. Did he like the photos? Were they a good investment? Not addressed. My group includes water people and not-so-interested-in-being-wet people. He glancingly comments on land access to several parts of the park. I would have appreciated his addressing head on how to help the "not-so-wet-thanks" members of the group enjoy the park.
Was it worth a buck? Certainly. Did it answer all my questions? Nope, but it provided helpful information in a fairly clear and easy to read format.

I hate going to a new adventure and wondering if I am getting the full benefit. This well written guide alleviates that worry and prepares you for a great day before you enter the gate. I can not think of a better way to spend a dollar!
Well I just finished reading this "book". A magazine article would have provided as much information. I learned almost nothing more reading this than looking at Discovery Cove's website. I know it was only a dollar but still a waste of money.
The author - as a first time visitor to Discovery Cove - made observations that will make your experience the best it can be. This book will help you to plan your day and you will know how this particular park operates. I like knowing what to expect before I get there and the best way to get the most out of the day!
Great information but not really much too new in it. However I will proabably re-read before we head back there again this summer as Discovery Cove really is the next best thing to snorkeling in the ocean!
